Enamor began its journey in 2001 as a joint venture between Gokaldas and France’s heritage lingerie brand Barbara of Paris.

Enamor defined India’s women’s innerwear market, setting the bar on both product, design, communication, and quality standards. Introducing India to a cotton sports bra and the finest lace boudoir and bridal lines, corsetry and shapewear, athleisure, and loungewear as well as reshaping television advertising and retailing spaces for this category. Enamor now owned by Advent is available at thousands of points of sale across India.

In 1987 WEEKENDER was launched introducing India to youth fashion, open stores, modular interiors, franchising, visual merchandising, and 180 new styles each season all at once!

This pioneering brand captured the imagination of the young (15-25) and led to the launch of WEEKENDER KIDS (2-12) which also operated licenses of Walt Disney and Warner Brothers under the label TOONWORLD. The brands created the DNA  of fashion retailing in India and its senior management went on to lead the largest retailers in the country today–including Reliance Trends, Pantaloon, and Mango.
